No-fly days due to bad weather will happen. The alternative options of entertainment for our guests is listed below
Skiing at winter sport resorts
A good chance of keeping yourself in good form and spending a couple of hours outdoors.
- Moroznaya Resort is located in 40 minutes of driving distance from the hotel. The vertical drop is 400 meters. You can enjoy skiing in the typical birch forest.
- Krasnaya Sopka Resort is located within the limits of Petropavlovsk. The vertical drop is 300 meters. And from the top of the hill - the wonderful view at Avachinskaya harbour and the city.
Ski-touring
You can join eather 2/4 hours warming-up tours on the nearest mountains around the hotel or go for a day long route on the foot of Viluchinski volcano.
Ski-doo
One-day trips to Avachinski, Kozelski and Vilyuchinski volcanoes. Each snowmobile takes two persons, they drive in turns. The group is accompanied by a guide.

Sea kayaking (available after mid April)
Kayaking and trips on board of the sail catamaran along the Avachinskaya Harbour. Training in elementary skills of kayaking at sea and rowing technique.
River rafting (available after mid April)
Four-hour rafting trip down the Avacha River, from the village of Severnye Koryaki to Ketkino. All participants take an active part in steering the 16-foot raft.
Excursions to the Pacific Coast
The journey takes 2 hours one way, yet you will have a chance to see the largest ocean on the planet, black volcanic sand and slow waves of salty water.
Dog sledging
You will visit the breeding kennel, located within 40-minute driving range from the hotel. There are about 60 huskies from Kamchatka and Alaska in the kennel. The route of sledge journey, 15 kilometers long, lies in the birth forest at the foot of Avachinski Volcano.
Museums, fish market, gift shops
Visits to museums (Museum of Local Lore, Museum of Volcanology Institute, Museum of Kronotskiy Natural Park, Geology Museum), fish market, gift shops.
