BERND SCHULKE: «Bernie» lived in Chamonix, he was a personality in this small world of alpinists and skiers and known much further than only the limits of the valley he lived. He met Nikolay and Vitaly during a Freeride competition in the Caucasus which was the beginning of a long friendship but also of new projects — to establish and promote Heliskiing for European customers. Bernie died in an avalanche on the south slopes of the Mt. Blanc area in April 2003.
DANIELA SCHMIED: Daniela loves skiing, which she practiced in several disciplines at its high level and she loves the mountains around the Chamonix valley where she lives since many years. Together with Bernie she met Nikolay and Vitaly during a competition in the Caucasian mountains. Since this time she dedicated quite some energy and time to help getting established and promoted Russian Heliskiing on the European market.
